Implementation and Migration Analyst recruitment

HSBC Securities Services (HSS) is developing the Fund of Hedge Fund (FoHF) business as a strategic service with a Global offering. Therefore a new programme has been initiated to develop the business model and product service offering. The implementation of new core processing and workflow software, the delivery of organisational change to support this, and the migration of clients onto the new platform will be delivered over a 2 year period. The Implementation and Migration Analyst will provide support to the Programme Workstream Lead responsible for the technical implementation of the new strategic FoHF platform and subsequent migration of existing clients onto this platform in a controlled approach.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

Execution of the client migration schedule providing on-site support to the migrating HSBC office.

Particular focus on managing HSBC’s clients throughout the migration process ensuring that their needs before, during and after have been catered for.

Organisation of post-migration support during key business period

On-site coordination of jurisdictional data migrations.

Amalgamation and maintenance of detailed implementation and back-out procedures and technology baseline documentation

Assist in facilitation of code delivery from vendor or internal Information Technology (IT) teams via appropriate relationship management procedures

Assist in creation / amendment of go-live related documentation

Management of HSBC clients throughout migration onto new FoHF platform, including the preparation of materials to brief clients on the migration process and responding to any bespoke requirements.

Document technical issues through incident tracking and input into solutioning for future migrations

Utilise and develop problem-solving skills, communication skills, creativity and knowledge of FoHF products.

Creation of the transitional plan to move from a Project Deliverable to a Technology BAU function.

The successful candidate will have:

Coordination and installation of integrated systems within a managed IT environment, across multiple geographies and time-zones.

FoHF Data Migrations.

Knowledge of the FoHF business, particularly in middle and back office.

Strong communication skills including the ability to present to and engage with a range of stakeholders from managers on- and off-shore as well as both IT and Business As Usual (BAU) Operational staff.
