Implementation Manager

An experienced Implementation Manager with Risk and Controls experience required to work on the Global Project to enhance Payments process and controls.

Duties include:
To ensure all country payments processes are within Group standards and within regulatory requirements.
Review and provide management assurance around the design and operating effectiveness of payments controls in all channels and areas that initiate payments processes to improve the control performance and risk management practices
To recommend and deliver solutions and interventions which reduce fraud costs as a result of improvements made
To collaborate closely with offshore teams to ensure correct controls and safeguards are in place
Ensure full completion of Payments Inventories to ensure they are fully complete ensuring sustainable review processes are in place to capture new and amended processes
Review payments processing in all functional areas across the Bank identifying all processes for inclusion in the payments inventory.
Review Payment Inventory for offshore teams, ensuring sustainable review process is in place to capture new or amended processes
Implement improvements to the payments control environment (other functions)
Collaborate with Global teams to identify and resolve areas of inter dependence
Support SIM in designing and implementing the delivery plans
Where possible identify potential strategic solutions for costing
Develop and embed consistent risk reporting and set appropriate quality standards
Ensure evidence is in place to support control processes and attestations

Essential Skills
A strong and determined personality.
A control and risk mind set and implementation ability
Working Knowledge of Operational risk frameworks
Knowledge of banking operations and processes- a background in branch and/ or call centre operations
Excellent communication skills (both verbal written), including negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to apply governance, controls and risk management standard
Good organisational skills and proven ability to work to deadlines
Attention to detail and high standards
Ability to solve problems using sound judgement and analysis
