Internal Auditor
Internal Auditor (Commercial Organisation) - £32000 - £40000 per annum
Our client is one of the largest companies in their market place with a mix of products. Looking to a recruit an experienced internal auditor to join their team based in South Belfast. The internal audit job will require a qualified accountant with excellent technical ability, ideally trained in a larger accountancy practice to undertake this role. So if you are currently working in a large accountancy firm in Internal or External audit and would like to gain commercial experience working in a large organisation this role could be for you.
The role of the internal auditor is broad and encompasses many areas such as the efficiency of operations, the reliability of financial reporting, deterring and investigating fraud, safeguarding assets, and compliance with laws and regulations. The role would have a heavy Sarbanes Oxley Act (SoX) compliance focus but would include other areas such as documentation of company processes, updating of existing documentation for changes in company policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, ideally with prior knowledge of SoX compliance. They will have worked with large dynamic organisations and would have the personality to be able to influence effectively in a professional manner.
