In-House Lawyer (Asset Management) recruitment
Provide general support to the EMEA legal team on all matters arising in an in-house legal department of a fund management company.
• Launching and closing sub-funds
• Prospectus Updates, interacting with the business in deciding on the matter to be updated , liaising with external counsel, local regulators and with the Hong Kong Legal team
• Assisting the funds team in its fund registrations work(most of the work is outsourced)
• Negotiating and maintaining service provider agreements
• KIID
• Assisting the Management Company in its compliance with UCITS III
• Familiarity with Fund Administration and Transfer Agency processes
Provide general advice on funds and legal fund management issues as required.
You must be able to work independently and must have a good knowledge of Dublin UCITS and Non-UCITS rules, familiarity with Central Bank Guidelines and have a knowledge of HK and Swiss registration issues ideally.
Our client is looking for someone who can work efficiently, be organised and draft documents to meet clear disclosure to investors and the requirements of regulators without unnecessary repetition.
The role will also involve instructing external counsel on questions while ensuring that external legal spend is minimized and internal resources are effectively used.
This is an urgent and permanent role for a very well established and well regarded asset management firm that is large enough to provide long term career possibilities but not so large that you are 'just a number'.
