A Senior Associate will be responsible for driving Sapient Hiring in Germany Switzerland across the Global Markets business covering Investment Banking, Hedge Funds and Asset Managers. Successful candidates must demonstrate a history of delivering high calibre individuals while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process. They must also possess the ability to advocate for the company brand across numerous markets and professional communities. This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large. A wide degree of creativity, near- and long-term recruiting vision, business understanding, and personal organization is required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leverage recruiting resources including online, networking, and direct hiring of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
- Advises hiring managers to identify personnel needs and workforce planning strategies
- Collaborate and assist hiring mangers to promote talent pipelines
- Maintain proper procedures with in-house Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) to track and record all candidates and requisitions.
- Create and foster relationships with colleagues and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates.
- Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates.
- Organizes, leads and documents post-interview debrief/feedback with interview teams and candidates.
- Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager's interactions, and other recruiting activities
- Works pro-actively with all members of the global and regional staffing teams to develop and implement staffing plans and activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent spoken and written German (native speaker level) and English.
- Experience in full lifecycle recruiting, in Financial Services or Management Consulting with an understanding of Technology / Operations.
- Ideally experience in recruiting for Trading Applications and/or Trading Systems preferred. General understanding of any of the following a plus: Derivatives, Credit Risk, Trading Floor Flows, Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, and Compliance.
- Strong network within Financial Services is desired.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions.
- Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
- Proficient with word-processing, spreadsheets, Internet and E-mail.
- Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
- Must be able to quickly assimilate technical information and build solutions to the optimal balance of meeting business needs and operating within financial resource constraints.
- Proven ability to work effectively with project teams and clients.
- Strong negotiation skills.
