Our Quality Risk Management group is responsible for the promotion and support of risk management within the business. The Team is responsible for ensuring the firm's compliance with the rules and regulations imposed either by external professional regulatory bodies or by Ernst Young Global in relation to the conduct of the firm's auditing business and for ensuring that new clients and engagements accepted by the firm do not result in a conflict of interest.

Your responsibilities as an Independence Compliance Manager:

- Oversight and supervision of staff working on our centralised independence compliance processes and databases

- Managing the timely completion of independence checks, processes and database work (dashboard management), and the management of compliance testing and monitoring processes

- Providing independence advice, as required

- Management of staff undertaking independence and other regulatory processes and projects including evaluating the level of queries for each independence process and allocating staff accordingly (dashboard management).

Qualifications/skills you'll need as an Independence Compliance Manager:

- People management experience

- Ability to manage compliance work as well as the ability to become a subject matter expert in the Independence rules that govern these compliance processes.
