Industry Expert – Mining recruitment
This major international bank has a strong presence in domestic and international markets and a track record of success in the structuring and delivery of financing and investment products to a diversified corporate and institutional client base. The firm is now looking to hire an industry expert to work within a global Metals Mining / Commodities team.
This role will require the successful candidate to interface with front office, clients and credit risk professionals to provide expert opinion and analysis on a range of transactions. You must be internationally mobile as you will be required to participate in due diligence processes where you will work closely with the banks executives on analysing experts reports and challenging business experts where necessary. This is a senior role within the risk management group and will require a depth of experience and gravitas gained from significant experience in the industry.
For this position you must be a qualified mining engineer or geologist and have experience within the resources industry coupled with knowledge and experience in financial markets. You will be adept at stakeholder management, with the communication skills to influence and liaise effectively at senior levels.
