Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking an Informatica Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD.  Look to a future of excellence by joining a Northrop Grumman team delivering cutting edge technology solutions to our clients.   The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Solutions Management division which focuses on healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, state, and local government clients.

 

The chosen candidate will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team developing a new analytical application for Northrop Grumman’s Healthcare systems.

 
Roles and Responsibilities:

Experience designing, developing Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) routines using Informatica and Oracle toolsets. Heavily experienced in Informatica, TOAD (and other data query tools), Oracle RDMS and related database utilities, PL/SQL (stored procedures). Experience working with Medicare/Medicaid data is highly recommended. Professional competencies include: Ability to understand business requirements and translate into technical specifications. Strong team orientation. Problem solver. Clear documentation and communication. Demonstrated recent experience working on large and/or complex projects. Recent deployment experience in complex environments. Ability to work under aggressive schedule. Informatica ETL, Oracle, TOAD, Stored Procedures required. Healthcare Member, Eligibility, Claims and/or Benefits subject area preferred.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

•         Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Math, or technical science (e.g. Engineering) and 9 years of related experience.

•         Solid experience in the with design, development, and delivery in ETL processes

•         Experience developing Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) routines using Informatica and Oracle toolsets.

•         Experienced in Informatica, TOAD (or other data query tools), Oracle RDMS and related database utilities, PL/SQL (stored procedures).

•         Solid experience in data and information architecture to include RDBMS and different files types

•         Excellent knowledge in dimensional data models, data warehouses, and data marts

•         Must enjoy working in a team environment with frequent customer contact and have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.

•         Demonstrated skills in solving problems and responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction

•         Professional competencies include: Ability to understand business requirements and translate into technical specifications. Strong team orientation. Self directed and mature. Problem solver. Clear documentation and communication. Demonstrated recent experience working on large and/or complex projects.

•          Recent deployment experience in complex environments.

•         Ability to work under aggressive schedule

•         Healthcare Claims experience.

•         Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

·         Enterprise architecture, system architecture, ETL and data architecture experience

·         Informatica ETL tools

·         Healthcare Member, Eligibility, and/or Benefits subject area preferred.
