Information Centre Manager
The Information Centre primarily services the Australia and New Zealand Investment Banking and Capital Markets businesses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of three researchers based in Sydney and Melbourne
- Contract Management. Managing contract negotiations and vendor relationships
- Responsible for budgeting and spend on information products
- Research Requests. Provide timely and high quality research using appropriate database and sources.
- Ensuring highlevel of service is maintained within the team
- Training. Managing the induction of new staff and on-going training
- Marketing of Information Centre Services
Requirements:
- Qualified with proven experience in a similar role managing a team and vendor contracts
- Highly proficient in retrieval of information from a variety of information databases e.g. Thomson SDC, Bloomberg, Thomson Research, Datastream, Factiva, Dealogic etc
- More than 5 years Research experience
- Strong planning, organising and leadership skills
- Able to build strong relationships within the team and bank
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
