Information Security Officer – AVP recruitment
Our client is a global private/wealth management organisation with a significant presence across the Asia Pacific region that offers a range of specialist products and services to their institutional clients and investors alike.
The Information Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring and reporting information security risks and issues for the business. This will involve liaison with all business areas and internal risk counterparts within Wealth Management Division, monitoring performance and providing support and guidance on all information security issues and areas of coverage. He/she is also responsible for providing information security advisory and consultation on projects and ad-hoc business requests/initiatives.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with Bank's local and Group Security Fraud, Information Security policies and standards is monitored and reported.
- Ensuring IT governance on IT processes
- Participate in reviewing the bank's proposals for security improvements to ensure their compatibility withAsia's business operations, and to obtain early insight into any impact on its operations.
- Liaising with local and business-level IT functions to ensure that Information Security services are engaged where appropriate, ensuring that technical security policies and standards are complied with.
- Managing security improvement plans, ensuring that actions are monitored and completed promptly.
- Managing and resolving Asian information security issues.
- Supports DRP/BCP drill for HK SG and review business plan post mortem reports
- Manage good Audit standing, internally and externally. l
Main requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Information System from a recognized university
- Professional security related qualification (i.e. GCIA,CISSP etc) will be an advantage
- Candidate must have a strong background in information security processes and procedures.
- Familiar with regular information security operation and reporting
- Capable of motivating employees and improving Information Security Awareness
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Ability to face of to senior stakeholders.
