Information Security Officer
As an employee of the ERM department, the Information Security Management Specialist is responsible for operational risk control of information processes and systems in order to mitigate information security risks.
The Enterprise Risk Management department strengthens the ability of the firm to continuously meet its regulatory requirements and to service its clients out of a robust environment by providing independent risk assurance, information security management, business continuity management and a sound control framework. The ERM function constitutes the first line of defense for all risks except for market and credit risk.
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Keep up with any changes in information processes, systems and developments.
- Conducts periodic assessments to gather reliable information on the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. Reviews access control matrices used for applications.
- Executes risk assessments and analyzes the data, presents the results and conclusions to management. Researches deviations and advises about risk mitigating actions. Organizes and controls follow-up of assessments.
- Presents to management any needed security improvements and advises on the development and implementation of changes in standards and procedures.
- Reviews and revises Information Security procedures and makes recommendations for their implementation.
- Continuously monitor the risk control framework detailed in the Information Security Plan and the COBIT control framework.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Information Security Management qualifications such as CISSP, CISM and/or CISA
- Knowledge of industry wide IT standards such as ITIL and COBIT
- Familiarity of Information Security best practice, particularly in the financial services industry
- Knowledge of information security management and of IT systems, processes and regulations
- Minimum 5+ years of Information Security or IT Audit experience in the derivatives industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
