Information Systems Manager Job in South East England, Southern Uk

Information Systems Manager well versed in ITIL V3 methodologies required by a leading multi national organisation to work out of their UK Office. This challenging and varied information Systems Management role will require a large degree of global travel and ownership of a variety of projects in the information systems space.
Role responsibilities-
-Provide information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; problem-solving; successful completion of audits; identify trends; determine system improvements and implement change.
-Accomplish Infrastructure Services human resources objectives with tasks associated with recruitment, selection, salary planning, the discipline process and performance reviews.
-Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
Develop and maintain a strong orientation towards customer focus and relationship management (internal and external) and a continued spirit of customer service to include frequent contacts with outside customer and vendor representatives at various levels.
• Determines requirements by maintaining contact with customers; visits operational environments; benchmarking best Practices; analysing processes and procedures.
• Continually improves service quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes.
• Accomplish key objectives to include support of business continuity, acquisitions, and organisation mission as needed.
• Manage and leverage resources and capabilities to achieve OLA/SLA targets.
• Communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels.
• Provide technical, IT hardware and software solutions / recommendations, for proposed IT activities to include new acquisitions and upgrades.
• Uses independent judgement and discretion to prioritise competing service requests and set levels of expectation within the teams and customers regarding IT issues.

Required Experience
-Extensive related work experience with increasing responsibilities with comprehensive knowledge / experience managing geographically diverse IT infrastructures.
• Must have strong leadership and management skills with large team management experience including leading, directing, and overseeing the work of subordinate managers and their teams.
• Proven ability to develop and execute effective IT strategies, business plans, and policies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, including business leaders and executives.
• Must have the demonstrated ability to influence others to achieve desired results and work with other organisational leaders to meet company goals.
• Overall project management of projects for reporting, including strategic enhancements, releases and maintenance activities.
• Project Management (Microsoft Project and/or other Project Management tools)
• Experience with ITIL V3 methodologies, and implementation of ITIL based services management approach.
• Experience with development, negotiation and performance management/reporting under Service Level Agreements.
• Experience with IT asset life-cycle management
• Ability to define requirements, prepare requests for proposals, negotiate and implement hardware and software solutions
• Strong customer focus and communication skills both verbal and written
• Competency in defining and introducing new, professionally-managed IT services
• Bachelor's degree in an IT discipline, CIS/MIS, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
