Information Technology Risk & Assurance (ITRA) Professionals recruitment
As one of our IT risk and assurance consultants (or professionals), you'll work with clients to improve the competitive advantage of their IT operations by enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. You can expect to work on some of the biggest external and internal audit engagements in the world and we'll give you the opportunities and support you need to succeed professionally and personally.
We currently have exciting opportunities in our Information Technology Risk Assurance (ITRA) practice for Associates, Consultants and Managers in our Manchester and Leeds offices.
When you join us as an ITRA professional, you will be planning and delivering IT risk and control advisory engagements. Depending upon the size and complexity of the engagement, you will lead a small team or carry sole responsibility for technical delivery.
Your responsibilities as an IT and Risk Assurance Professional will include:
- Assessing clients' IT environments and IT-related business processes that support the financial statements, to determine the extent to which reliance can be placed on the internal control environment
- Planning, budgeting and delivering engagement for review by ITRA Managers or Senior Managers
- Gaining an understanding of the clients' IT applications and infrastructure to determine the effectiveness of the control environment, through performing and reviewing process walkthroughs
- Reviewing detailed analysis of the control environment to gain assurance over effective operation of controls.
Qualifications/skills you'll need as an IT and Risk Assurance Professional will include:
- You will need significant experience in IT risk and control including analysis and reporting or equivalent
- You will also be able to understand how to assess core IT-related controls
- Currently working or have experience in either professional services and/or internal audit
- Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) qualification would be advantageous
- Advanced MS Excel beneficial
- Knowledge of IT industry practice methodologies (e.g. CobiT, ITIL) is preferable
- Experience of Windows, Oracle, SQL or UNIX environments is expected.
