My client is a leading company within the Hedge Fund industry, delivering technology and infrastructure solutions. Predominantly based in the US, the London market is an area of growth and an opportunity is available for a talented Windows Infrastructure specialist to join the team.
As the 3rd line support / infrastructure specialist, you will be working with the latest versions of Windows technology. Ideally you will have a background working with buy side OMS systems such as Sophis, Tradar and Eze OMS gained form working in a financial trading environment.
My client is a well-founded and growing company with a healthy pipeline of project based work and a solid growing client base. This is a hugely divers opportunity and as the successful 3rd line engineer / infrastructure specialist, you will be working in a BAU / Project based capacity building an outstanding portfolio with some of the worlds leading systems and technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the best names within the hedge fund industry; you will provide advice as well as technical solutions as well as ideas that will be implemented into client environments.
To be considered for the role of - Infrastructure, 3rd Line Support, Exchange, Windows, VMware, OMS Systems, Eze OMS, Sophis, Tradar, Bloomberg, Reuters - you will skills and experience in the following:
* An excellent understanding of Exchange server - you will have built exchange servers ideally 2010
* A background working with Windows technology - Windows server
* VMware experience
* Ideally you will have worked within a financial environment and supported the infrastructure and trade processing systems in a trade floor environment
* This role is highly client facing and you will need to a confident individual with excellent communication sills
