Infrastructure Advisory – Manager recruitment

Our Infrastructure Advisory team is fully integrated both within our wider Transaction Advisory Services practice and our firm as a whole - with 152,000 people in more than 140 countries worldwide - and our clients reap the benefits of this broad range of knowledge, skills and experience.
Our infrastructure professionals work with government and project sponsors to assist in optimising transaction outcomes when working on major infrastructure and industrial projects. These transactions span both economic and social infrastructure.
Managing major infrastructure projects is challenging. Throughout the strategy, business case, procurement, build, operations, and exit phases there are numerous decisions and issues which must be considered. Oversight and understanding of the project from ‘cradle to grave’ is essential from any advisor.
Ernst Young’s Infrastructure Advisory team has a proven track record of advising on the sale and purchase of infrastructure investments and the refinancing of existing projects. We advise both public and private sector organisations that require support in developing and managing large scale infrastructure projects across a range of sectors. We also advise on the long-term operation of assets and the creation of high performing organisations.
We have ambitious plans in and we are seeking high performing experienced professionals to support transaction execution across South East Asia to be based in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Performance and supervision of advanced financial modelling
- Providing commercial and financial advice to clients (with supervision from partner / senior manager
- Independently leading a team, coordinating review comments, reporting to the partner, and delivering discrete pieces of financial and commercial analysis
- Directly liasing with client contacts
- Managing and developing detailed proposals and other Business Development material
- Coordinating and managing a client engagement, including billing, WIP, quality and risk management and other administration
- Providing mentoring, coaching and support to junior team members
To qualify, candidates must have proven ability in the areas of:
- Advanced financial modelling skills, project finance modelling experience would be an advantage
- Previous experience in infrastructure advisory sector, either in a bank, consulting or investment capacity
- Strong commercial acumen and general commercial skills
- Excellent interpersonal and client management skills
- Good time management
- Understanding of economic or social infrastructure procurement and delivery
- Management and coordination of junior staff across teams
- Enthusiastic work ethic and willingness to learn new capabilities and perform engagements in new sectors or specialties
The successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel, when necessary.
