Infrastructure Architect / Designer
Infrastructure Architect / Designer required on an initial 6 month contract with my financial client based in Bromley.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within the Finance or Insurance Arena, carrying out a similar Infrastructure Architect position both in a technical and strategic capacity. If candidates do not have financial / insurance experience, they will require 5 years + within a large enterprise environment carrying out Infrastructure Solution Architecture.
You must come from a strong technical background and have previous experience with at least 5 of the following:
- Distributed Server Platforms (Linux, Windows, Solaris)
- Enterprise Storage Products (preferably EMC Network Appliances product sets)
- Data Networking Security
- Database Data Warehousing
- Voice Networking Call Centre Technologies
- Desktop (Windows, Citrix, Microsoft Products)
- Data Centre Best Practices
- Naming Directory Services
- Middleware Application Messaging
- Collaboration, Communication Email
- Mainframe Mid-Range Solutions (IBM z/OS iSeries knowledge advantageous)
- Intranet, internet eCommerce infrastructure
