Infrastructure Engineer / Architect (Windows Desktop Server) Job in London, London UK

Infrastructure Engineer / Architect (Windows Desktop Server) required to design, develop and configure solutions on behalf of a Major Systems Integrator.

The Infrastructure Engineer / Architect (Windows Desktop Server) will have a well rounded background around Infrastructure design and implementation. This role though is very much focused around analysing and evaluating current state Infrastructure and looking to improve/ optimise current state architecture across a number of business areas. This will involve implementation, migration, rationalisation etc. Ideally you will have some subject matter expertise around server And or desktop strategy and implementation – focus around Windows Server 08 especially and related Microsoft Certifications (MCSE/ MCE etc) will be highly regarded. You will be leading and/ or involved in entire lifecycle in what is are likely to be challenging projects so a passion for this work and proven track record are essential.

The initial project will be working in the city with a major financial services organisation, but given the consulting nature of this role flexibility to travel throughout the UK and perhaps Europe is essential.

The team has a very flat structure and so junior to senior; you could be involved in anything post sales around the design and implementation of Infrastructure solutions. There is an excellent career path towards strategic architecture design and a great deal of autonomy within the role. This is a fast growing organisation so a great deal of opportunity to progress.

The ability to start ASAP will be advantageous.

Please forward CV or call Ross Riddleston for further information.
