Infrastructure Manager – Banking and Finance Experience Required - Leeds
Core Purpose of the Role:
To deliver and own the infrastructure design including service, risks, costs, governance and assurance to clients.
The Single Point of Contact within Service Delivery (SD) for the Infrastructure Design for Enterprise Architecture Development (EAD), Application Development Management (ADM) and any other areas outside SD.
Accountabilities:
§ Responsible and accountable for the infrastructure design from outline design through to detailed design for delivery - ensuring key contributors are engaged
§ Lead, shape and enforce Service Delivery minimum standards for quality, resilience and supportability of technical designs
§ Ensure design enhancements to mitigate service risk are incorporated within technical designs, while ensuring issues are fed into the risk analysis process
§ Provide Service Delivery costs from early planning stage (high level estimates)
§ Identify Service delivery resource requirements during the Design phase, providing resource booking and identifying / escalating issues and hotspots. Identify gaps and requirements in Service Delivery skill-sets
§ Represent Service Delivery at technical governance forums, ensuring a SD perspective within the governance process to shape decisions
§ Provide Service Delivery Authority-to-Proceed and Gateway checkpoint sign-off to assure SD deliverables at each stage of the project lifecycle
