Summary
Implement, support, and administer infrastructure, network and telecommunications systems that support Teleplan’s IT standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. upgrade/install hardware and software for infrastructure components;
2. perform network related support functions
3. provide technical and operational support
4. document local and wide area network layouts
5. diagnose and repair any network problems
6. interface with appropriate vendors when required to remedy system problems
7. be responsible for documenting infrastructure standards
8. complete special projects as assigned by Supervisor
9. support IT systems to fulfill defined SLAs
Education/Training:
- Microsoft networks
- Knowledge of printing principals, printers, network printing
- networking skills (network switches, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, ...)
- network security
- basic LAN/WAN and telecommunications systems and infrastructures
- basic telecommunication systems
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.
