Infrastructure Technical Project Manager

Essential Skills:

Demonstrable track record of working as an Enterprise level Project Manager; proven track record of delivering complex IT projects or programs of work; demonstrable experience of delivering enterprise level infrastructure projects such as data centre relocation or large scale server upgrades; an understanding or experience of delivering projects that have an impact on users and the business; experience of structured methodologies, in particular AGILE (SCRUM, XP, RUP etc.); budget management of at least £1m a year

My client is a highly respected technology consultancy based in London with a client base that is wide and varied across a number of large global blue chip organisations. They have a strong specialism within Financial Services however their client base is wide and varied across engineering, defence, telecoms, retail etc. However most of their project based work sits within large global financial services clients in London. They are a delivery based technology function that pride themselves on being the type of consultants that roll their sleeves up and deliver complex enterprise scale technology solutions. They generally work on the more complex and tricky assignments within their client base, They are not the kind of company who stand up in meeting rooms telling the client how to fix their business but lacking the capability to deliver the solution. My client is a diverse and friendly organisation with a strong sense of identity who are passionate about their brand and culture. They hire a wide range of interesting candidates into their business, and definitely do not have a "one size fits all attitude" to the consultants they bring on board.

My client is looking for hungry and delivery focused technology Infrastructure PM's who ideally have a background in technology delivery with a wide and varied skill set in technology and have deep functional business knowledge also. Although this is an Infrastructure role my client wants candidates who can work in a variety of roles and clients, so if you have experience delivering projects within software as well, you would highly regards.

If you have worked within a delivery focused technology consultancy before then you will definitely be of interest to my client as you will understand the challenges and demands of being successful as a consultant.
