INSIDE SALES/CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Parlance Corporation, developers of innovative automated operator applications for enterprise telephony environments, is seeking a Part Time (20 hours/week) Inside Sales Assistant to augment the company’s lead generation efforts.
Description
The inside sales representative will work cooperatively with the Inside Sales Coordinator, Sales Executives, and Marketing Director to enable highly-effective Outbound sales programs to grow existing customers, create new customers, and drive the sales pipeline.
Job duties:
· Assist in the identification of likely target markets and job functions for Parlance’s products and services
· Research/compile detailed prospect contact data (name, company, title, email, phone, address, etc.) for determined target markets and job functions to be included in the Parlance sales database
· Assist in exploring alternate means and methods for obtaining targeted prospect data
· Execute cold-calling programs to obtain warm leads for distribution to company Sales Executives
· Determine need and effectively disseminate Parlance’s Unique Value Proposition to contacts and leads
· Determine key decision maker, validate accuracy and update contact data through cold-calling
· Pass on qualified warm leads to company Sales Executives
· Assist in electronic marketing programs on an as-needed basis
· Perform additional tasks on an as-needed basis
Requirements
· Previous experience in a small business Inside Sales environment
· Ability to quickly learn new CRM software and applications
· A proven ability to quickly absorb company, product, and industry terms, practices, and technical knowledge
· A high degree of comfort in initiating engaging conversations with targeted prospects to assess current telephony environment and promote Parlance’s products and services
· Ability to “think outside of the box” in regards to contact data collection
