Inside Sales & Customer Support Representative Job in West Roxbury 02021, Massachusetts US

At the plastics printing division in Boston, MA we are currently searching for an Insides Sales and Customer Support Representative to join our team.

A successful candidate will be self motivated, have eagerness and a willingness to learn and a desire to hit the ground running. This is an entry level position, but has great potential for professional growth and development for the right person.

The Inside Sales and Customer Support Representative will support the Sales and Account Management Teams with new and existing accounts by managing orders from quote through delivery phases with a high focus on territory management, sales and customer service within a specified region.

Essential Functions:

1. Provides customers with quotes, estimates, pricing, credit terms and delivery guidelines. 
2. Develops terms on all standard products within provided guidelines and maintains persistent follow up until closure.
3. Responsible for sales and quote follow up for new and existing customers. Maintains accurate records and details related to quotes, estimating, pricing and job order entry using CRM.
4. Acts as the lead for all jobs in house for accounts assigned to his/her region.
5. Responsible for project management with complex orders.
6. Services assigned major accounts and visits as needed.
7. Supplies input for team selling approach where applicable with the appropriate Sales Manager.
8. Provides accurate and timely follow on all leads, customer inquiries, campaign mailings and trade show leads and insures the maintenance and integrity of the lead management system.
9. Keep accurate records of all sales and quote activity regarding wins and losses, pricing, and other competitive information.
10. Maintains and manages the quote archiving system.
11. Assists in all areas of the current Sales/Account management team.
12. This is a learning position which has the possibility to lead to advancement to in Sales and Customer Support

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Interacts with team members on a daily basis within assigned territory and serves as back up to associates in all facets of territory assignments and responsibilities.
2. Primary contact and responsibility for complete customer service. Works in conjunction with Account Managers to develop, maintain, and grow assigned and new accounts.
3. Attend national/regional trade shows as required to represent Company products.
4. Maintains open lines of communication with Operations staff and Sales Representative to assure customer satisfaction.
5. Participates in marketing strategies and training sessions to better understand our customer and market direction for Company planning and implementation.
6. Participates in training new Sales and Customer Support Representatives as needed.
7. Contact existing customers to ensure information is up to date and accurately on file.
8. This position will provide support to the reception function as needed.
9. Additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer relations skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer experience, including Microsoft Office, manufacturing and sales quote software.
• Excellent organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• BS/BA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service and inside sales
• Pre Press or Printing background is a plus
