In this highly visible role you will contribute to the quality assurance testing of a real-time Linux based audio-video content adaptation system that optimally utilizes widely varying network resources in current next generation wireless networks. You will have the opportunity to develop run your own manual test cases for Linux based product functionality release certification testing. You will also have the opportunity to interface with development support groups to improve product quality usability from a customer perspective.
As the successful candidate you will hold a BSCS, BSCE, or BSIS and 5 or more years of Quality Assurance (QA) or System Test experience. Your experience will also need to include hands-on experience with Linux, networking, database test automation, as well as, strong software troubleshooting skills. Comprehensive experience developing tools or test cases using Perl or automated test systems will be necessary and a working knowledge of Fanfare iTest is highly desirable.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with stronger in hands on Linux application testing. You will be expected to create functional and system level test cases, run them and perform analysis and debug of any observed issues. An understanding of networking concepts and application server-to-server communication is also strongly desired.
