Position Description:

The Director, Inside Sales will be responsible for the coordination of all enrollment activities (through contact center sales) for all Penn Foster Schools (High School, Career School and College). Reporting to the Vice-President of Customer Relationship Management, he or she will assist in the development and execution of inside sales strategy and activities for the business, and provide leadership across a variety of sales channels and customers including direct to consumer and direct to institutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Plan and manage Penn Foster inside sales activities according to agreed upon strategy
2. Consistently meet and/or exceed sales targets on a consistent basis
3. Coordinate sales efforts within the organization; ensure consistent and constant communication across departments
4. Work in tandem with Marketing to coordinate fully integrated sales and promotion strategies
5. Identify and recommend sales strategies to grow the business
6. Oversee and improve sales training and methodology
7. Provide coaching and development of sales leadership team
8. Actively participate in the sales budgeting process; manage costs of sales departments
9. Ensure the delivery of a positive enrollment experience to all customers
10. Drive, develop and promote increased sales effectiveness
11. Recruit, develop and retain exceptional sales talent within the organization.

Qualifications:
1. A college graduate with a proven track record of inside sales leadership and performance; experience in online/retail environments highly preferred
2. 5-7 years experience required; a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position necessary
3. Advanced skills in the development and execution of multi-channel sales strategies
4. Experience in customer retention a plus
5. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
6. Strong proponent of the sales and service relationship
7. Ability to prepare, interpret and present sales reports and market data
8. Familiarity with sales tools and systems; sales analytics experience
