We have immediate career opportunities for qualified Inside Sales Representatives in the Tempe, AZ market. The successful candidate will promote and sell DHL’s global services by phone to meet sales target and generate revenue. In addition, the successful candidate will develop and execute telephone, web, email and postal marketing campaigns to develop and qualify new customer leads into a robust book of business.
Key Accountabilities:
- Build a book of business through efficient prospecting, identifying new opportunities, cross and up-selling through a consultative sales process
- Place outbound calls daily with the specific purpose of educating customers on the benefits of using DHL Express global services and converting these conversations to booked sales
- Manage incoming customer calls with the intent of extending contact to sell new or additional products and/or services and to provide customer satisfaction and retention
- Build sustainable, repeat revenue by increasing the scope of products / trade lanes the customer is purchasing from DHL
- Coordinate with sales management on implementation of sales plans, including special promotional efforts
- Enhance the work environment through teamwork and focusing on solutions, providing functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced inside sales positions
Key Skills Qualifications:
- Excellent telephone, written, active listening and oral communication skills
- Assertive demeanor, competitive nature and disciplined approach
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), database and web-based applications
- A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) skills a plus
