Position Responsibilities:

The Inside Sales Representative’s play a duel role within the organization; 1) They are responsible for soliciting the sale of add-on products and services. 2) They are the customers advocate within the SunGard K-12 Education organization, interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services, connecting the customer with appropriate departments for issue resolution and being their trusted advisor.

The role of the Inside Sales Representative includes:
•Confer with customers by telephone and in person to educate customers on the SunGard K-12 Education Products and Services and to solicit sales of new or additional products or professional services to meet the customer’s needs.
•Meet a monthly sales goal for selling add-on modules and services to their customers.
•Help clients see the value in available professional service offerings that will enable the client to make greater use of our products and realize efficiencies.
•Establish and build relationships with all clients to help foster the client/partner experience.
•To be the main contact for the customer to help escalate issues that have not been resolved with the normal escalation methods.
•Establish multiple contacts spanning executive, information technology, administrative and building level users.
•Know all key decision makers and decision influencers at each customer, their opinions, and the reason behind these opinions.
•Participate in user group meetings to continue to enhance relationships.
•Be a liaison with Account Executives to provide client references.

•Minimum 1-2 years experience in software Sales with a proven record of meeting sales goals
•Ability to work effectively in a Sales team environment
•Driven, results oriented
•Excellent communication and presentation skills, integrity and a high level of enthusiasm about providing sound solutions to K-12 Education customers
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to consistently close deals through effective negotiations with management
•Set challenging goals, monitor progress and make sure that results are achieved as planned
•Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate the resolution of Customer issues
•Responsiveness and thorough follow-up with customers
•Outstanding organizational and process skills to ensure top priorities are consistently being pursued
•BS/BA or equivalent is required
