RG Steel, LLC is an integrated flat-rolled steel producer located in Warren, Ohio. Applicants are being sought for an immediate opening as an Inside Sales Trainee in the Sales Department.
EDUCATION:
BS/BA degree, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.

DESCRIPTION:
The Sales Trainee will break in working as a Customer Service Specialist. The Customer Service Specialist is RG Steel’s key contact with our customers and is responsible for the day to day servicing of the customer’s needs by performing value-adding activities that maximize customer satisfaction. Duties will include:
Processing of inquiries from customer regarding new products, sizes, etc.
The accurate and timely preparation and entry of new orders into the mill system. Includes the filing and maintenance of the sales order file.
Service all aspects of the customer’s order, from entry to shipment. This includes but is not limited to, change requests, expedites, and statusing of orders.
Notify Sales Management, Salesman and/or TSR of any problems that may arise with a customer.
Resolve pricing and freight discrepancies that may arise.
Prepare both formal and informal quotations for the customer.
Refer non-conforming product to the customer.
Solicit shipping releases for ready material.
Solicit new orders from customers, specifically in the case of heat lot issues and three heat minimum grades.
Continue to strengthen the vendor/buyer relationships RG Steel has established with its customers.
