Our client is a highly successful and profitable financial services business now looking to improve and develop its products range and services, as well as its customer journey and become a household brand name.

As a result, it is now increasing its Marketing function to support these aims. The Insight Manager will provide clear strategic and tactical direction to the business by means of best in class insight, research and analysis, of both the internal and external environments and data. They will focus on developing, growing and enhancing the insight function.

Segmentation of the customer base and identification of key target segments.
Consumer and market insight translated into business and commercial strategy as well as new product development.
Inform and help improve marketing performance and efficiency.
Set up a central research and competitor intelligence data base
Develop best practice team working with other areas of the business (specifically Marketing, Product, Operations and Business Development) in order to achieve the overall business goals.
Experience and skills required:
You will be an experienced Insight Manager (having worked in a customer focused industry) with 5+ year’s recent experience.
Proven track record of developing segmentation models, ideally from scratch.
Good understanding and hands on approach to data manipulation.
Proven experience of setting up and coordinating market research.
Experience of directing and marketing data agencies and/or IT functions t provide insight and data required.
Proven experience of translating complex insight data into meaningful communications and strategy.
Good understanding of marketing and measurement techniques thereof across the full marketing mix including newer areas of social media.

You must have excellent analytical, issue spotting skills.

Computer literate in MS Office suite
