This firm pays at the top of the market scale. The majority of the team received a lucrative bonus last year.

The typical career plan for staff is, CA to IPA and on completion of IPA, a secondment overseas for 2 years. One third of the practice is expat Brits and the head of the team often goes over there and recruits staff. The relationship is such that you will be guaranteed an overseas opportunity, most likely in London.

The work is bank initiated in the institutional and syndicated space and the assignments include debt advisory, IA’s, receiverships and pre-lend reviews. This is one of the only firms sitting on all bank panels. They do not do any liquidation, VA or bankruptcy work.

They have the ability to attract high level syndicate work that Big 4’s cannot accept due to conflict of interest and specialists cannot accept because they don’t have Corporate Finance, Audit and Tax expertise.

They are currently working on a number of high-profile assignments that will enhance your resume and technical skills. You will get variety in assignments and not will not be pigeon-holed on large appointments.

This young Partnership of a global player is only considering candidates from Big 4 and Top 4 Boutiques due to the analytical skills required for the nature of work. 2 + years experience and undertaking or completion of CA.
