Vice President to Director Level
Within our New York- based operation, an opportunity exists for a Senior Institutional Sales professional on our South African desk. Reporting to our Head of South Africa Sales, you will play a lead role in growing our US based South African desk. This position will suit a highly-motivated individual capable of making an impact in a rapidly expanding market.
You will:
- Focus on selling South African (SA) stock ideas and research to a US client base
- Research ideas and tailor messaging to suit clients' investment strategies
- Service institutional investors and hedge fund clients
- Demonstrate your proven ability to build and grow a client base and forge strong business partnerships- generating strong revenues
- Participate in roadshows and corporate marketing events with clients
To be successful, you will:
- Have at least 5 years institutional equity sales experience in South African market sales or an EMEA sales capacity
- Hold a bachelors degree (minimum)
- Demonstrate a proven and progressive work history in the financial markets
- Draw on your outstanding client relationship skills to generate and grow the business
- Be entrepreneurial in your approach, driven and tenacious
- Have Series 7 and 63 qualifications
