Institutional Sales Team Director recruitment
An exceptional opportunity has become available within our Institutional Sales Team for a proven individual to take responsibility for a consultative sales process to a defined list of target institutions. The jobholder will focus on developing pension and investment business to large Corporates and Financial Institutions. There will also be a requirement to support colleagues covering the treasury operations of these businesses. Duties will include:
- To generate proactive business opportunities.
- To hold regular portfolio reviews with the relevant HSBC Global Relationship Managers on a client by client basis.
- To represents the AMG business at conferences, through trade body participations, where required.
- To promote the Global Institutional Asset Management business.
- To establish Global Banking relationship and compliance compatibility through analysing opportunities per client.
- To develop the client opportunities in conjunction with Global Banking, Global Relationship Managers
- To manage detailed Client relationship plans in collaboration with Global Banking Relationship Managers, and to hold strategic level discussion with Clients to understand their needs and identify value-add investment solutions.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have a proven track record of selling pension and investment solutions to Corporates and Financial Institutions allied with first-class relationship management skills and evidence of attaining a "trusted adviser" status. Ideally the successful candidate will have a relevant investment management qualification (e.g. IMC or CFA) and have exceptional knowledge of investment management industry trends and regulatory developments. You will require a professional, consultative and collaborative approach as well as a positive outlook.
