Instrumentation Maintenance Technician Job in Alberta, Alberta Canada
Responsibilities:
*Ensure the activities of the instrumentation maintenance team are coordinated, and following procedure
*Monitor and maintain equipment
*Ensure safety and efficiency in operations of your equipment, and team
*Troubleshooting of all field instrumentation and control systems
*Work closely with both the Planning and Operations group to identify and prioritize jobs
*Complete daily reports of activities
Qualifications:
*Journeyman, Instrumentation with inter-provincial status is a MUST
*Oil and Gas Industry Experience is preferred
*Experience working with low, medium and high voltage instrument equipment
*Experience with large horsepower motors, starters and isolating equipment
*Experience with small and large horsepower VFD drives
*Experience with VFD drives and various PLCs as well as program troubleshooting
*Experience with DCS, vibration equipment and CMMS or other CMMS system
*Experience with Steam and Gas Turbine generators and controls
*CSTS, Fall Protection and H2S Alive Certifications are considered beneficial
