Insurance Compliance Professional – Temp to Perm recruitment
A leading insurance provider is currently seeking a talented compliance professional to join their well established team based in Surrey. You will initially join the business on a temporary basis however there is a definite possibility for the position to become permanent over time. Reporting to the head of the team you will enjoy a broad range of work including:
- Undertaking face to face and desk based monitoring reviews across a range of different business areas
- Monitoring and advising on all relevant regulatory and compliance developments impacting the business
- Assessing the adequacy of internal processes, systems and controls to ensure internal policy, regulatory rules and guidance and governance requirements are met
- Providing compliance reports to the Risk Committee, Senior Management Team and the Board
- Providing compliance sign off approvals as required
You will be an enthusiastic and solutions focussed individual with previous experience gained ideally within an FSA regulated organisation and have worked in a monitoring environment. You will also be an effective communicator and influencer with a proven track record of interfacing effectively with business colleagues and at a senior management level. A detailed working knowledge of the FSA Handbook particularly in relation to ICOBS and DISP, gained within the general insurance sector would be advantageous.
