Insurance Consultant recruitment

Successful candidates will be working at CO level identifying the strategy and drivers for change and effecting change across business and IT. You will be: implementing business strategy through the design and implementation of new models of operation; addressing core challenges through delivery of innovative solutions and create operationally excellent businesses and functions that drive continuous improvement and customer focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the business and IT operating model for Insurance companies across Life and General Insurance companies in the current and future environments

• Ability to define and develop business processes across Claims, Sales Servicing, and Management Information to deliver performance and/or cost efficiencies whilst ensuring control is maintained and risk is managed

• Describe the detailed processes for at least 3 functions within insurance (i.e., claims processing, Sales Servicing / policy administration, customer acquisition and retention, business operations, management information, etc.)

• Ability to articulate the customer proposition across all channels

• Understand the data requirements for each of the processes

• Broad knowledge of regulatory and economic factors impacting the Insurance industry

Experience

• The right person for this exciting role will have broad, enterprise-wide experience of and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.

• Experience of Insurance transformation (with Business and IT) and delivery

• Demonstrable experience of programme planning and control techniques within Insurance companies

• Credibility to command respect and to drive the change agenda amongst multiple stakeholders

• Excellent communication and influencing skills with ability to positively and sensitively work with executive stakeholders

• Highly effective relationship management skills, with the ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems

• Experience of either performing a line-role in an insurance company, or as a consultant to such an organisation

• Extensive experience with writing business cases, good presentation skills, and analytical ability

• Experience modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques and exposure to operational excellence principles desirable
