This part-time, per assignment opportunity allows you to make your own schedule, work around your commitments and be somewhere different every day.

 

Job Description and Duties

A loss control surveyor aids the insurance industry by writing reports and recommendations to reduce risk on an insurance policy. As a loss control surveyor, you would receive assignments from US-Reports to complete for our clients (insurance companies). Each assignment requires you to schedule an appointment with the policy holder, visit the insured location, inspect and survey the premises, and generate a prompt, accurate report. Some of the tasks involved are measuring, diagramming, photographing, and checking for safety code compliance.

 

Experience

We provide free, comprehensive training online to all of our representatives, giving you the knowledge you need to succeed. Relevant experience in any of the following will help reduce training time:

·         Loss Control for Insurance Companies (does not include retail/shrinkage)

·         Commercial claims adjusting

·         Commercial or residential inspections

·         Construction (experience in all aspects)

·         Real Estate Appraisal

·         Safety or fire service investigation

Above experience, we seek self-starters who demonstrate the skills necessary to complete prompt, accurate reports while emulating our culture.

 

Tools for Success

Loss Control Surveyors need to already possess a cell phone, a scanner, a laptop, a digital camera, high speed internet, a measuring wheel, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license.
