Insurance Manager
We currently have a senior opportunity for an experienced Manager who is focussed on operational efficiency – strategic direction and implementation – to join this large Superannuation administrator.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a challenging role managing a team of 50+ staff in changing their mindset to become more operationally efficient. You will have freedom in implementing processes and driving the strategic direction of the department. There will be great recognition and the potential of career progression for the individual who can turn this department to one of the leading areas of the business.
The role requires someone with confidence that can drive productivity and processes, has knowledge and a strong understanding of Group Life Insurance in regards to superannuation. You will have had exposure to the operations within Group Life and feel confident managing large teams.
You will be required to manage 3 Team Leaders and a further 50 staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering results – Ensuring the staff follow the insurance process, always offering the highest levels of customer service and attention to detail;
- Leading the team and developing a strong culture focussed on delivery, results and a strong team bond;
- Developing KPI’s and driving cross skills training within the teams in the department;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally as the face of the department.
This is a diverse and fulfilling role that includes management, operational and strategic duties. It requires an experienced and versatile individual that knows how to get results and will be excited about the prospect of driving this team to be a high quality and operationally efficient one.
