Insurance Manager

Full Job Description

Our Client is looking for a motivated self starter professional to join a dynamic and growing company to sell commercial insurance.

The main responsibilities for this role are :
- To sell commercial insurance this requires identifying and pre-qualifying the target businesses, carrying out risk audits of the premises and administrative procedures, obtaining and negotiating quotes from underwriters, presenting quotations to the business decision makers, followed by managing the client relationship post-sale, as well as the partnership with the insurer.

- For crisis management services, the individual would be required to present to Senior Management Teams the rationale and benefits of the service and then facilitate the services of the expert providers.

- The individual would be set sales targets and report performance against those targets. The role requires considerable liaison and contact with people at all levels internally and externally. Individual would be supported by highly efficient and motivated office staff in appointment making and other support functions, such as claims handling and marketing material

The successful candidate will posses the following skills and attributes:
- Previous Broking or Market Facing Underwriting Experience
- Holder of professional-business qualifications.
- Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication and presentation skills; tact, diplomacy and patience required.
- Warm and outgoing personality.
- Able to form relationships quickly with all types of people.
- Dedicated and thorough in approach, yet able to appreciate bigger picture.
- Imbued with a sense of professionalism and integrity, but also determined to win.
