Insurance Sales Consultants

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a vibrant team of Sales Consultants within a corporate contact centre in Pudsey, West Yorkshire for a Leading Insurance Provider. As a Sales Consultant you will be responsible for the promotion and selling of policies to new and existing customers and instruction of service provision. You will also be the point of contact for follow-on customer activities and queries.
To succeed in this role you will possess the following skills and qualities:
• Accurate and relevant data capture during and after the call to allow for the correct rating of the quote first time every time
• Manage follow on activity as appropriate
• Manage instruction of services and suppliers to achieve effective cost control
• Manage the customer experience, ensuring adherence at all times to the principles of Treating the Customer Fairly (including Complaint Handling guidelines)
• Proactively and professionally communicate with our customers and colleagues to manage expectations and achieve the appropriate outcome
• Ownership and adherence to internal and external policies, procedures and governance, relating to our colleagues, shareholders and customers
• Develop self in order to maximise personal contribution to your role and to understand how it fits into the wider Sales Service operating model.
