Insurance Services Manager (Germany Operations) Job in Dublin City Centre D2, Dublin Ireland

Santander Insurance is part of Santander’s Global Business, contributing over €2.4billion in revenue and €350million in profits.

The group has established an insurance company in Dublin, to provide credit protection insurance products for customers across Europe. This has created a number of openings, including one for an operations professional with fluent German. This is a new office which, for the right person, will provide the opportunity to shape the role and grow with the business. The key to success will be flexibility and the willingness to ‘muck in’.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Germany point of contact and decision maker for all referrals arising from sales, cancellations, claims and complaints processes
 Continuous regular monitoring, reporting and management of Germany customer service performance to ensure contractual standards are met or exceeded
 Ongoing review of processes to drive improvements in the customer service standards and process efficiencies supplied by service providers
 Deliver solutions in response to legal and regulatory change impacts, acting in collaboration with internal and external advisors and suppliers
 Manage the implementation of new initiatives, products and distribution channels
 Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigating actions and controls
 Develop, maintain and advise on knowledge of the Germany creditor insurance market and all factors that impact on it

REQUIREMENTS

 Knowledge of insurance practices, creditor protection products processes
 Experience of working within a regulatory framework
 Business analysis, operations design, implementation, quality management control
 Third party supplier management
 Strong client customer focus
 Ability and willingness to travel in Europe to execute responsibilities
 Fluent German
 Degree level education
 Competent using MS Office
 Good reporting and presentational skills
