Integration Specialist – London recruitment
The Product Area:
Bloomberg Portfolio and Risk Analytics is responsible for the rapidly improving portfolio desktop functionality that Bloomberg offers within the terminal product.
The Role:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join the rapidly expanding Bloomberg Portfolio and Risk Analytics team in London, concentrating on desktop client integration. The successful individual will manage the relationship from an integration perspective between Bloomberg, our customers and, if necessary, third party responsible for administering our customer's portfolio data. With a consultative approach, the individual will manage the relationship from the initial implementation phase throughout the course of a customer's relationship with Bloomberg.
This role interacts with multiple business areas and requires strong communication and time management / prioritization skills. Good technical knowledge, especially in the areas of data transmission protocols, security considerations for data transmission and process automation is necessary for successful execution of this role.
The process of integration may differ markedly from client to client, so as an integration specialist you will need to develop and execute implementation plans for each assigned customer and proactively manage issues, coordinate issue resolution and escalate issues as needed. Travel may be required as this role has EMEA region coverage.
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of processes involved with sending and sharing data.
- Proven experience or knowledge of portfolio upload or similar integration experience.
- Ability to develop and execute an implementation plan for each assigned customer.
- Proactively manage issues, coordinate issue resolution, and escalate issues as needed.
- Consult with clients on best practices for seamless integration.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience interacting with clients.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Fluency in English is essential,
- Fluency in a European language is an advantage.
