Integration Test Engineer - Functional Qualification (Software Firmware)

An engineer to perform Integration and Qualification testing on new and existing electronic products in response to customer requirements. Ability to demonstrate that the hardware and/or software conforms to the specified functional and environmental requirements. To understand the overall function of the product and its role within the aircraft.
Key Tasks:
- Ability to write and perform Hardware/Software Integration Test (HSIT) plans
- Ability to produce detailed reports post testing
- Ability to specify the functional requirements for electronic equipment
- Ability to write Production Acceptance Test Specifications (PATS)
- Ability to specify test equipment requirements
- Ability to produce verification procedures for test equipment
- Basic Qualifications : Knowledge of avionic communication protocols i.e. AFDX, CAN Bus, ARINC - would be advantageous
- Knowledge within the following areas would also be beneficial: Control theory, Debugging Software, LabView, DOORS, RTCA/DO-178, RTCA/DO-254
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic design; hardware/software fault-finding, testing and development.
-Experience in general electronics development and design ideally within an aerospace environment.
- Knowledge of aircraft Electrical Power Generation and Distribution Systems (EPGDS) would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Motor Drive Systems would be highly beneficial.
- Knowledge within the following areas would also be advantageous: Control theory, Debugging Software,
