Summary:  The Intelligence SME will analyze and conduct assessments of all source intelligence that utilize consistent, structured analytical techniques in the analysis of such areas as threats, vulnerabilities, associated risks, futures and trends. 

 

**This position is contingent upon award and funding of contract / task orders**

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Analyze all-source information and provide intelligence assessments in compliance with the

most current Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) Number 203, Analytic Standards and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) Number 206, Sourcing Requirements for Disseminated Analytic Products, promulgated by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) or subsequent follow on or replacement directives.

·         Conduct assessments of all source intelligence that utilize consistent, structured analytical techniques in the analysis of such areas as threats, vulnerabilities, associated risks, futures and trends.

·         Provide assistance in target development support of other agency nominated and/or internally generated targets through but not limited to:

o   Target data development

o   Pattern of life analysis

o   Social networking analysis

o   Nodal analysis

o   Track, monitor and target individual, groups and structures common to advanced target principals, guidelines and disciplines

o   Build and/or present targeting briefs on High Value Targets and High Payoff Targets for tactical, operational and strategic operations and/or missions (not to be confused with surveillance of potential targets).

·         Conduct studies which require more in-depth or strategic analysis than the event-driven intelligence assessments.

·         Prepare reports that include an introduction and background of issues, objectives and problem, summary of major findings, discussion of limitations gaps and weaknesses, results achieved, recommendations/conclusions, and applicable supporting documentation.

·         Provide intelligence and administrative outreach support by participating and assisting the

Government in preparing for meetings, oral presentation of work products or, working groups, red cell and table top exercise projects.

·         Submit summary reports recording the key discussions, recommendations, decisions and subsequent action items.

·         Provide assistance through participation, either individually, or as a team member in working groups, meetings and collaboration events, both live and virtual to provide analysis and discussion topics concerning mission support events as well as service to requests for information from BIFS customers.

·         Provide assistance in developing and/or presenting work products to both internal and external audiences to include senior level staff members, concerning assessments and analysis of events that impact the BIFS area of operation.

·         Provide assistance in organizing and formatting the briefings in accordance with established standards.

·         Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

 

Supervision:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

BS/BA Degree preferred; 6 to 10 years of direct experience in the field or equivalent military experience. Proficient in the use of information technology and possess information technology skills required to operate community standard DoD Intelligence Information Systems including but not limited to:  Joint Deployable Intelligence Support System (JDISS) and Intelink; messaging handling, data storage, retrieval, and search applications (e.g., M3, Pathfinder, SAFE, etc); analytic and investigative/case management tools (e.g., I, Analyst Notebook, Visual Links, I2MS, etc); and basic Microsoft office software applications (e.g., Powerpoint, Excel, Access).

 

 

Computer Skills:

Proficient in the use of personal computers with experience using Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications required. 

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Add if in required

 

Clearance:  Must have an active TOP SECRET/Special Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) clearance.

 

Travel:  May be required to travel within a fifty (50) mile radius in the performance of work.
