Interactive Content Manager Job in Novi 48375, Michigan Us
The Interactive Content Manager is a critical role within the Digital Marketing depart. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the management of web content, web content editing, overall web site management for multiple brand sites, as well as Social Media content and other online marketing programs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage online content to effectively and quickly make continuous improvements in the site experience to drive quality leads and relevant traffic
- Develop content strategy based on business objectives
- Ensure content confirms to SEO best practices
- Generate content strategy and ideas for partnerships and new content development appropriate for the brands
- Oversee external freelance writing and/or editing resources; provide creative direction, manage timeline and review work.
- Management of social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, content creation, and outreach programs to source internal and external content
- Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs; analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns
- Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, Google+
- Monitor trends in social media tools and applications
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Marketing or related field.
- At least five (5) years experience writing and managing content for high traffic web sites.
- Thorough understanding of the web and enhanced user experience.
- Proven web site publishing experience with strong computer skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work with little direction.
