Position: Interactive Project Manager- PMP Certified a plus!

Location: City of Chicago

Status: Freelance/ possible Full Time

Estimated Duration: Ongoing; 15-30 hours/week to start then more FT hours

Starts: Week of Feb. 6th

Rate: $28-37/hr DOE

Job Description:

We have a very exciting freelance opportunity with a rapidly growing agency in the city. Our client is looking for an Interactive Project Manager to join their team.

This is a very crucial role with the agency. It will start as a 15-30 hour/week commitment so you can date each other before you marry. The client is looking for a long term fit for their needs, so they are only interested in considering candidates who can truly commit to the initial 15-30 hours/week trial that will hopefully turn into a full-time job.

You will be responsible for and must have the following experience to be considered:

-Managing multiple projects simutaneously

-Creating project timelines and plans/processes from scratch and ensuring teams are sticking to them to complete projects

-Setting and managing project budgets

-Understanding what resources are needed to complete digital projects and then finding and allocating the resources adequately

-Managing contracts

-Working with web development partner agency

- Understanding of CMS-driven sites; knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, Flash is a plus

It is preferred you have agency experience particular with smaller and entrepreneurial focused shops to be considered. It is also highly preferred you have PM certification.

If you are passionate and energetic about your work, have experience building client relationships and are looking to work in a fun and extremely creative environment, this would be a good fit for you.

You must be exceptionally skilled in identifying strategies and solutions that will lead to the successful execution of complex digital and interactive projects.

Project deliverables you will be managing will include application builds, site builds, online social communities/social media campaigns, etc.
