Interim Accountant
A large accountancy firm, based in Warrington, a seeking an accountant to join them on a twelve month contract to cover a maternity leave within the team.
Within this role you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts for three Limited Companies.
The main duties responsibilities of this role will include:
- Review and prepare management accounts for three companies
- Year End Audit file and audit fieldwork assistance
- Submit all statutory forms on time and ensure that liabilities are paid by due date (VAT, PAYE, Pension, etc.)
- Provide weekly cash flow forecasting
- Manage VAT compliance
- Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of monthly Direct Debit extract for ltd company contractors
- Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of monthly management accounts
This is an exciting opportunity to join the internal finance function of this accountancy firm. To be successful in your application you will have over 12 months experience of preparing management accounts and statutory accounts and be competent with VAT calculations.
The firm are seeking either an AAT qualified candidate or a part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant. To be successful at interview you must demonstrate a proactive attitude to work, good communication skills, strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new team environments.
