Portfolio Accounts Manager

A highly successful and rapidly growing accountancy firm based in Warrington are seeking a Portfolio Accounts Manager to join their business.

The purpose of this role is to work with a portfolio of clients and be responsible for interpreting the clients’ accounts to each client answering any complex or business related queries they will have. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your advisory skills and manage a portfolio.

The role in more detail will entail translating balance sheet and profit and loss accounts for your clients and answering queries and advising clients on business matters such as buying a car though the company, pensions etc. This is very much an advisory role within the business where you will be seen as the main accountant for your clients. As the client base in across the UK most of your advisory work will be via the phone however there will be some face to face meetings.

This opportunity will suit an experienced Assistant Accountant who is AAT qualified or above. You will have experience of dealing with client queries and be confident in your technical knowledge to advise and resolve each client’s query. You will have previously worked in an accounts preparation role and be fully competent in preparing and submitting year end accounts for companies house. As this is an advisory role you will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to maintain strong client relationships.
