Interim Head of Financial Management
A strong qualified finance professional is required to join a prestigious education institution on an interim basis (up to 6 months) as Financial Management Manager. The job requires a proven leader to manage the work of the financial management team in conjunction with the Deputy Director, overseeing the work of a team of 5.
The role will report into the Deputy Director of Finance and will work closely with various internal faculty heads. Responsibilities of the successful candidate will include (but will not be limited to) leading and coordinating the work of the financial management team, supporting the production of monthly management accounts, provision of ad hoc finance reports, providing financial management of capital expenditure and supporting the institution in managing any restructuring of roles and responsibilities as part of a wider review.
Supervising a small team, the right candidate will be able to demonstrate strong financial leadership and will have good experience across a wide range of finance processes. The ideal person will be a qualified accountant with a background in education finance, intelligent, commercially minded and a solid team manager.
