Interim Occupational Health Manager
INTERIM HEAD OF OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH – DURHAM
Hays Healthcare is working alongside the Airedale NHS trust to recruit an interim Assistant Head of Occupational Health.
The role will require the development and delivery of specialist occupational health nursing care through, assessment, planning and implementation.
The successful applicant will develop, implement and monitor standards whilst using research to develop and implement initiatives, policies and procedures.
An interim position, this role will require the candidate to work two days per week, based in Durham.
The ideal candidates will need to possess the ability to deal with people including colleagues, in a friendly, professional manner. The ability to remain calm in stressful situations and a willingness to undertake training as required would also be prerequisites of this role.
Applicants should also hold the following qualifications and skills:
· RGN qualified and a degree or equivalent in Occupational Health
· Knowledge of Health and Safety Law
· NEBOSH certification would be desirable
· Good computer skills
· The ability to work to deadlines
· At least two years recent Occupational Health Nursing experience
