Interim SVP: Decision Support/Transformation
A FTSE100 Bank seeks to appoint an exceptional individual to lead Decision Support/Relationship Management for a business wide cost reduction/operational efficiency transformation program. Working closely with MD/ExCo level stakeholders across the globe, the role will act as the interface between the central Transformation Strategy team and the wider business. The successful applicant will act as the thought partner for the different business units;
- Developing a strong understanding of planned changes and progress against agreed milestones.
- Working with the BU’s to develop robust business cases behind cost operational restructuring initiatives
- Identifying potential synergies with other functions
- Acting as the voice of the BU’s at a Group level, ensuring clear communication across the firm as a whole.
The successful individual will have exceptional relationship management skills and a track record of influencing senior stakeholders. Prior experience within a FTSE100 bank or a tier one consulting house is essential as are strong excel skills and an ease with numbers. Prior exposure to cost/operational efficiency restructuring initiatives would be advantageous. A strong commercial understanding of how a multinational bank operates is also essential, as is a ‘hands on’ mentality and approach to the role.
