Interim Treasury Assistant (Graduate)

A large privately owned business is looking for a recent graduate with an excellent academic background to join their team as a Treasury Assistant on an ongoing interim basis. This role would suit a graduate who has an interest in developing their career within finance and treasury, who may have gained some previous experience in a finance position either as an intern, or in a temporary or permanent position.

The role will have you responsible for the preparation of monthly treasury and cash flow reporting, getting involved in the implementation of a new treasury management system, assisting with the implementation of policies and procedures, assisting with the management of debt compliance, monitoring compliance against internal requirements, as well as improving treasury operations, data integrity and reporting. The organisation are focused on training you up in this position, giving you exposure to projects and the tools to build a successful treasury career.

You will ideally have gained some experience in a financial role however this is not a necessity. You must have exceptional excel skills, an excellent academic record, be educated to degree level in any subject and have a keen interest in treasury. This organisation would be specifically interested in those individuals who have a quantitative degree such as Maths, Accounting, Science, but also a degree that involves high attention to detail such as English, History, Law or Philosophy. This role requires you to have excellent written and verbal communications skills, an ability to simplify complex issues, with high attention to detail and an enthusiastic attitude to learning.

This role will be on an ongoing interim basis and you will need to be available on at most a three week notice period.
